CEDERI-Madimba aims at the socio-economical promotion. Its four intervention areas are training, health, drinking water supply and sanitation, and reforestation for fighting global warming. CEDERI Madimba wants not only to organise but also to train leaders for self-education. This training is provided through sessions at the Headquarters in Madimba.

| Cipanas YUM Village will focus on the empowerment of families. Poverty in the Cipanas region remains a serious problem. Many families are unable to provide regular nutritious meals, adequate shelter and education. Recent findings published by UNICEF, Save the Children and the Ministry of Social Affairs (Indonesia) indicate that children develop better when raised within a family and that wherever possible focus should be placed on the development and empowerment of families.
